Georgia Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar. 17.
The Georgia Chamber is proud to once again begin its statewide swing known as the New Georgia Economy Tour, presented by Wells Fargo.
Each year the Georgia Chamber travels the state of Georgia listening to the needs of local leadership and business executives and sharing unique insights and data analysis developed by the Georgia Chamber Foundation to help businesses address current market risks and long-term growth opportunities. The regional programs also offer networking opportunities.
Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark noted, “In 2022 we’re focusing on winning the war for talent by addressing the labor crisis; diversifying our economy; and building the infrastructure of the future and asking about the long-term needs and ideas to improve prosperity for all Georgians.”
The tour, which kicks off eight confirmed dates, as of this release, begins on Monday, March 21 in DeKalb at Georgia Piedmont Technical College’s Conference Center located in Clarkston, and is open to the public.
