Salesforce plans $15 million expansion in Georgia creating over 250 jobs

Salesforce, Inc. has announced plans to invest $15 million in expanding its operations in Georgia, a move expected to create more than 250 new jobs in Fulton County by the end of 2028.

Governor Brian P. Kemp commented on the development, stating, “Salesforce’s decision to expand in the No. 1 state for business is the latest direct result of our unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and economic opportunity. Our pro-business environment and workforce investments continue to pay off as companies again and again choose to operate and grow in communities across the state.”

The company, recognized globally for its AI-powered Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions and cloud-based technology, currently employs over 2,000 people across Georgia. Salesforce provides services to clients in various sectors including financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, logistics, and the public sector.

Fulton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Robb Pitts noted: “Salesforce’s expansion is a win for Fulton County. The project was managed by Senior Regional Project Manager Caroline Kinchler from the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Global Commerce team with support from Invest Atlanta, Fulton County officials, Metro Atlanta Chamber representatives, and Georgia Power.
