On Saturday, Nov. 29, Messiah Scandrett, a former standout at Maynard H. Jackson High School, saw his current college team, the LaGrange Panthers, fall 14-18 to the Berry Vikings in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The matchup took place at 12 p.m. at Valhalla, Williams Field, Clark Track & Dickey Field, marking LaGrange’s first tournament meeting with the Berry Vikings.
