Beginning in 2026, all Major League Soccer (MLS) matches will be available to Apple TV subscribers at no extra cost, according to a joint announcement from MLS and Apple. This change means that fans will have access to every regular-season match, the Leagues Cup tournament, the MLS All-Star Game, the Michelob Ultra Campeones Cup, and the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs as part of their standard Apple TV subscription. The current standalone MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app will end after the 2025 season.
The partnership between Apple and MLS has developed over the past three seasons. The new arrangement aims to make it easier for fans in more than 100 countries and regions to watch matches without blackouts. This update comes as interest in soccer continues to grow in North America ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
As part of this transition, those who purchase full-season ticket packages with MLS clubs in 2026 will receive an Apple TV subscription included. In addition to live games, subscribers will have access to studio programming and a variety of on-demand content.
Don Garber, Commissioner of Major League Soccer, stated: “Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans. Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level by making it easier than ever for fans everywhere to watch, connect, and be part of the game.”
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, added: “We’re thrilled to bring MLS to more fans around the world next season on Apple TV. Every match, all in one place, alongside incredible Apple Originals — it’s a win for fans everywhere.”
This year marks MLS’s 30th season. The league has seen increased viewership and attendance as well as growth across digital platforms. High-profile players such as Lionel Messi and Son Heung-Min have contributed to rising engagement among supporters.
Apple TV provides subscribers with a range of original series, films, documentaries, family entertainment options, and live sports events. Since its launch in 2019, it has expanded its library with hundreds of exclusive titles across various genres.
Fans can continue watching matches throughout the remainder of the 2025 season on Apple TV.
