Juveniles Arrested in Stolen Vehicle

On March 3, 2023, Atlanta Police officers spotted a stolen vehicle driving in downtown Atlanta. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled. After a short pursuit, the vehicle ran off the roadway, and all four occupants attempted to flee on foot. With the assistance of Georgia State Patrol troopers and the Atlanta Police Air Unit, all occupants inside the stolen vehicle were appended.  

The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 15-year-old and charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing and Eluding, and Obstruction. The passengers were identified as 13, 14, and 15 years old. The three passengers were charged with Obstruction.  

All occupants of the stolen vehicle were wearing gloves, and multiple tools used to break into vehicles were located inside the vehicle. A handgun was also recovered inside the car.
