Jontae Gilbert, a former standout at Frederick Douglass High School and current player for the Georgia Bulldogs, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.

The team starts the tournament as the third seed, facing off against the ninth-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide.

The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m.
