Jason R. Anavitarte, a Republican who has represented Georgia’s 31st Senate District since 2021, posted several messages on his social media account on October 11 and 12, 2025.
On October 11, Anavitarte praised an individual named Ryan in a sports context, writing: “Great job today Ryan! #GoJackets https://t.co/RrLtIKyVUk”.
Later that evening, he posted another message: ” https://t.co/IYDejdGPyd”.
In the early hours of October 12, Anavitarte expressed surprise at an unspecified event or situation with the statement: “I’ve seen it all now, unbelievable. https://t.co/ocqR6TL7Fb”.
Anavitarte was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2021 after replacing Bill Heath as senator for the state’s 31st district.
