Jason R. Anavitarte, a Republican serving as Georgia State Senator for the 31st District since 2021, recently posted several updates on his social media account reflecting on political developments and legislative activities.

On January 12, 2026, Anavitarte commented on an upcoming event at the Capitol, writing, “Yeah, the Maduro anti-Freedom Democrats scheduled time at the Capitol tomorrow …. So there is that …”.

Later that day, he shared another post stating, “Wow .. we are back! #MAYEMVP”.

Two days later, on January 14, 2026, Anavitarte posted an additional message: “Let’s get to work! “.

Anavitarte has represented Georgia’s 31st Senate District since being elected in 2021. He succeeded Bill Heath in this role and has continued to be active in state politics through both legislative action and public commentary online.
