Jason R. Anavitarte, a Republican member of the Georgia State Senate representing the 31st District since 2021, has recently shared several updates and opinions on his official Twitter account.

On September 3, 2025, Anavitarte emphasized the ongoing commitment of the Georgia Senate GOP to student safety. He wrote: “Our @GASenateGOP along with @LtGovJonesGA remain committed everyday to keeping our kids safe. Our Senate team will continue to lead on this issue in Georgia and nationally. Thank you to the many parents, teachers, and public safety personnel who have helped us along the way to https://t.co/1BJSubONNu”.

The following day, September 4, 2025, Anavitarte posted a brief message stating: “Truth https://t.co/l4luYytwqG”.

On September 5, 2025, he commented on U.S. policy toward Venezuela and praised federal officials for their efforts. His post read: ” is not playing with Venezuela any more. Great work @marcorubio and @POTUS. https://t.co/wCVu1pvHnz”.

Anavitarte began serving in the Georgia State Senate in 2021 after succeeding Bill Heath as representative of the state’s 31st Senate District.
