Jason R. Anavitarte, a Republican serving as Georgia State Senator for the 31st District since 2021, posted several updates on his Twitter account in January 2026.

On January 18, Anavitarte expressed enthusiasm in a tweet: “Let’s go! #DrakeMaye https://t.co/Mj5dC9ernX”.

Two days later, on January 20, he commended another user with the message: “Great work @RGAlpert! https://t.co/FXTChWBI1U”.

On January 21, Anavitarte commented on Republican efforts in middle Georgia during an election event. He wrote: “Tonight Republicans were unified across middle Georgia and had an outstanding GOTV, decisively showing up and finishing 20 points ahead of the Democrat. The Democrats brought in national politicians, celebrities and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars. In round two, we will do https://t.co/IdceysuUGZ”.

Anavitarte was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2021 after replacing Bill Heath as representative for the state’s 31st Senate District.
