Jason R. Anavitarte, a Republican who has served as Georgia State Senator for the 31st District since 2021, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account covering topics from leadership to sports.
On October 17, 2025, Anavitarte reflected on an experience learning from a decorated military leader: “Spent some time learning leadership lessons from Admiral Scott Moore, a former SEAL who led thousands of missions, highlighted by some of the most famous hostage rescues, and search and destroy missions in the history of our nation. Grateful for his time while in Gettysburg.”
Later that evening, he commented on athletic excellence with the statement: “You will never see a player like this again…” posted on October 18, 2025.
On the morning of October 18, Anavitarte showed support for Georgia Tech’s athletic teams by posting: “LFG, Go Jackets!! #StingEm “
Anavitarte has represented Georgia’s 31st Senate District since being elected in 2021. He succeeded Bill Heath and is affiliated with the Republican Party.
