Jalan Davis, a former standout at Maynard H. Jackson High School and current player for the Valdosta State Blazers, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
Valdosta State enters the tournament as the top seed and will face the Albany State Golden Rams, also seeded first.
The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
