Several leaders and team members from Grady Health System have been recognized in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2026 Health Care Champion Awards. The awards honor professionals in metro Atlanta who have shown leadership, innovation, and dedication to improving health care.

Winners from Grady include Angela Brown, Director of Emergency, Trauma, and Interpersonal Violence Departments, named Community Outreach Champion of the Year; Dr. Yolanda Wimberly, Chief Health Outcomes Officer, awarded Health Care Executive of the Year; Dr. Nadine J. Kaslow, Chief Psychologist and Emory University School of Medicine professor, honored as Innovator of the Year – Women’s Health; Ashley Gresham, Vice President of Emergency Services, recognized as Nurse of the Year; and Tiffany “Coach Tip” Francis, Talent Development Manager, chosen as Rising Star.

“These honors reflect the extraordinary dedication, expertise, and leadership of our team members,” said John Haupert, President and CEO of Grady. “Each of these individuals exemplifies Grady’s mission to provide world-class care to all, while advancing health equity and community impact.”

Award recipients are selected through an independent editorial review process that highlights achievements with a significant impact on their organizations and communities. All winners will be celebrated at an event on March 19.
