Every summer, students at the Georgia Institute of Technology have the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills through the Startup Launch program. Applications for the 2026 Summer Startup Launch cohort are now open, with a deadline of March 17.

The program, organized by CREATE-X at Georgia Tech, provides students with resources and support to build startups over the summer. According to the organizers, Startup Launch offers structure and an ecosystem that helps participants move beyond class projects and address real-world problems.

Organizers emphasize that skills gained from Startup Launch—including identifying problems, validating user needs, building solutions, and communicating value—are recognized by employers, graduate programs, and investors. They describe participation as “a defining career asset.”

Participants in Startup Launch will spend the summer working on their ventures alongside peers tackling similar challenges. The program aims to ensure that students finish with tangible results from their efforts.

Applications for the 2026 cohort must be submitted by March 17.
