Fulton County Seeks Applications from Non-Profit Partners Working to Assist Veterans

The Department of Purchasing and Contract Compliance on behalf of the Department of Community Development released the 2023 Veterans Services Program (VSP) Request for Proposals (RFP) on Monday, February 13, 2023.

The RFP seeks proposals from qualifying non-profit 501(c)3 and 501(c)19 organizations providing services to the more than 40,000 Veterans in one of three Service Categories: Economic Stability/Poverty, Health and Wellness, or Homelessness and Housing. In the past two years, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners have allocated $1 million in funding for veterans programming.

Agencies that received a 2023 Community Services Program (CSP) funding award are not eligible to submit an RFP for the Veteran Services Program funding opportunity. Organizations responding to the RFP are strongly encouraged to attend the upcoming virtual Pre-Proposal Conference and Technical Assistance Workshop to receive detailed information regarding the Veteran Services Program RFP and to address questions and concerns.

Representatives from the Fulton County Department of Community Development and the Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance will be available to discuss the project and to answer any questions.

The Virtual Pre-Proposal Conference and Technical Assistance Workshop will be held on the following date: Thursday, February 23, 2023, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Responses to the RFP are to be received online via Fulton County WebGrants no later than Friday, March 17, 2023, at 3 p.m. Absolutely no proposals will be accepted after 3 p.m. The RFP document and supporting documents can be downloaded from the Fulton County Purchasing Department Bid page website https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/fultoncounty and via Fulton County WebGrants https://fulton.dullestech.net.

VSP recommendations will be presented to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
