Denton Shamburger, a former standout at The Westminster Schools and current player for the Georgia Bulldogs, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.
The team enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed and will face the No. 9 seed Alabama Crimson Tide in their first matchup.
The initial game is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
