Former Frederick Douglass High School alum Dre Towns to compete in NCAA Division II football championship with college team starting Saturday, Nov. 22

Dre Towns, a former standout at Frederick Douglass High School and current player for the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, will participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The team will start the tournament seeded third, facing off against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, who are also seeded third.

The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
