Five Atlanta United players have been called up to represent their national teams during the November FIFA international window, which runs from November 10 to 18. The selected players are Miguel Almirón, Dominik Chong Qui, Ronald Hernández, Alexey Miranchuk, and Bartosz Slisz.
Cooper Sanchez, another Atlanta United player, is already with the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar. The tournament takes place from November 3 to 27. The U.S. team leads Group I with six points and has secured a place in the Round of 32 ahead of its final group stage match against Czechia on November 11.
Miguel Almirón rejoins Paraguay’s national team after contributing to the country’s qualification for its first FIFA World Cup since 2010. Paraguay will play against the United States on November 15 and Mexico on November 18. According to Atlanta United, “Almirón has started 64 of his 71 appearances for Paraguay and recorded nine goals and six assists since his debut on Sept. 9, 2015.”
Dominik Chong Qui will be part of the U.S. U-19 squad competing in the UEFA U-19 Youth Tournament in Wrexham, Wales from November 10 to 18. The team will face Germany on November 12, Wales on November 15, and Japan on November 18.
Ronald Hernández joins Venezuela for two friendly matches: one against Australia on November 14 and another against Canada on November 18. As noted by Atlanta United, “The defender has tallied one goal and three assists in 34 matches with La Vinotinto.”
Alexey Miranchuk returns to Russia’s national team for home friendlies against Peru on November 12 and Chile on November 15. Atlanta United stated that “The midfielder has made 49 appearances and scored 10 goals for the national team since his debut in 2015.”
Bartosz Slisz is set to play for Poland in two qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, facing the Netherlands at home on November 14 and Malta away on November 17. Poland currently holds second place in Group G with thirteen points from six matches. According to Atlanta United, “The defensive midfielder has started each of the last four qualifiers and totaled twenty appearances and one goal with Poland since his debut in 2021.”
