It looks like two reality TV stars who have fallen into bankruptcy will be serving their sentences at federal corrections sites in Florida.

A federal judge has recommended penal camps in Florida for Todd and Julie Chrisley, who portrayed themselves as real estate tycoons on “Chrisley Knows Best,” after they were found guilty in June of tax evasion and defrauding banks of $30 million in fraudulent loans.

The couple was in bankruptcy before they started the TV show in which they “flaunted their wealth and lifestyle to the American public,” prosecutors wrote, quoted in a recent FOX 5 Atlanta report. The report added that the two hid the millions they made from ”Chrisley Knows Best” from the IRS.

The two have been ordered to pay $17 million in restitution that could cost them their Nashville, Tenn., mansions that are reportedly valued at more than $9 million; FOX 5 said.

“Chrisley Knows Best,” on the USA Network, followed the couple and their tight-knit, boisterous family and often showcased an “indulgent” lifestyle.

One of their accountants has also been found guilty of defrauding the United States and “willfully filing false tax returns.” He was sentenced to serve three years.

If the judge’s recommendation goes through, Todd Chrisley would serve his 12-year sentence in Pensacola, Fla., while Julie Chrisley would do her seven years in Coleman, Fla.

Alex Little, the couple’s attorney, has filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
