The first week of the fantasy football playoffs has arrived, marking a crucial point for participants hoping to advance in their leagues. Fantasy managers face key decisions about whether to continue relying on players who have performed well throughout the season or adjust lineups based on favorable matchups.

For running backs, RJ Harvey is recommended against the Green Bay Packers due to his consistent workload and recent top-five finishes. Woody Marks faces the Arizona Cardinals and has become Houston’s main back since Week 10, benefiting from a matchup against a defense that gives up significant points to opposing runners. Aaron Jones Sr., despite limited touchdowns this season, is expected to remain involved as a receiver against the Dallas Cowboys.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. of Washington is suggested as a waiver option for those seeking alternatives, given his role near the goal line and a favorable matchup with the New York Giants.

Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons is highlighted ahead of Thursday’s game at Tampa Bay. Although he was held to 24 rushing yards by the Buccaneers earlier this season, Robinson managed six catches for 100 yards and a touchdown in that game.

At wide receiver, Michael Wilson is advised as a starter after strong recent performances and high target volume. Wan’Dale Robinson remains a consistent part of the Giants’ offense and faces Washington’s struggling defense. Jauan Jennings has found success with multiple touchdowns recently and could be used as a flex option.

Jayden Higgins offers waiver value for Houston against Arizona following his development within the offense.

With Drake London out, Darnell Mooney becomes Atlanta’s top receiver on paper against Tampa Bay. Despite modest results so far this season, Mooney had notable games against Tampa last year.

Tight end recommendations include Harold Fannin Jr., who benefits from his connection with Shedeur Sanders; Jake Ferguson facing Minnesota; and Dalton Kincaid going up against New England after several productive outings. Isaiah Likely serves as a waiver pickup with an increased role for Baltimore in recent weeks.

Kyle Pitts of Atlanta enters Thursday’s contest at Tampa Bay following his best two-game stretch since his rookie year and previous scoring success in Tampa. He remains questionable but could play a significant role if available.

Among quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson is coming off an improved performance but faces another test versus Cincinnati, which has allowed high point totals to opposing quarterbacks. Jaxson Dart matches up with Washington after extra rest from a bye week, while Trevor Lawrence seeks to continue his streak of multi-touchdown games against the Jets. Tyler Shough is suggested as a waiver play due to several recent strong fantasy showings.

Kirk Cousins receives attention in Atlanta’s spotlight section; he produced high fantasy finishes in previous games versus Tampa Bay last season. Despite not having Drake London available Thursday night, Cousins’ past success against Todd Bowles’ defense may bode well for fantasy managers considering him as an option.
