David L. Kinsella has joined Stites & Harbison, PLLC as Counsel in the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office. He will be part of the Construction Service Group.

Kinsella brings over 30 years of experience in construction law and research to his new role. His background includes work in private practice, corporate legal departments, research organizations, and higher education. He has represented owners and developers involved with large-scale data centers across the country, focusing on complex construction and procurement projects. Kinsella’s responsibilities have included negotiating and managing agreements with contractors and vendors for various business sectors. His experience also extends to supporting clinical trials, research activities, and risk management efforts.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Kinsella served as Senior Associate General Counsel at the University of Kentucky. He has also held senior legal positions such as Chief Legal Officer at Mapi Group (now ICON), a global contract research organization.

Kinsella holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Kentucky. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
