Atlanta United will face Columbus Crew on Saturday night with the same three players listed as unavailable as in their previous match against Nashville SC. The club aims to secure three points at home to remain in the playoff race.

Forward Emmanuel Latte Lath is ruled out for the weekend, but head coach Ronny Deila noted that Latte Lath participated in training on Thursday. Deila said, “the break the forward has gotten while healing should allow him to play through the end of the season.” The team will monitor his progress next week to determine if he can be ready for their upcoming match against San Diego.

Edwards, who has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since late July, will also miss Saturday’s game despite returning to training this week. Both absences are precautionary measures for an Atlanta United squad that remains otherwise healthy and has enough depth to manage without Edwards and Latte Lath.

Jay Fortune continues his recovery from a foot injury sustained in June. He is no longer wearing a walking boot, and according to the club’s initial statement, his return depends on how his rehabilitation progresses.

Additionally, midfielder Bartosz Slisz will not be available due to suspension after accumulating yellow cards.

The availability of other players may depend on fitness levels following recent international duty. Decisions about starting lineup selections and potential substitutes will be made closer to kickoff.
