Atlanta United announces designated players and open roster spots for 2026 season

Atlanta United has released its roster designations for the 2026 season following the recent compliance deadline. The club, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia and competes in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference, currently lists Miguel Almirón, Latte Lath, and Alexey Miranchuk as its three Designated Players. Two senior roster spots and one Under-22 slot remain open. Eight of nine international slots are filled, with Pedro Amador now classified as a domestic player after obtaining his Green Card.

The primary transfer window remains open until March 26, while the secondary window will run from July 13 to September 2.

Atlanta United’s next match is scheduled for Saturday night against the San Jose Earthquakes at PayPal Park.
