The Atlanta Falcons have released their depth chart for Week 17 ahead of their game against the Los Angeles Rams. The announcement was made on Tuesday from Flowery Branch, Georgia.
The team emphasized that the depth chart serves as a guide for the upcoming prime-time matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is not set in stone. Personnel decisions may change leading up to or during the game.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris commented on the nature of depth charts earlier in the season. “I always hate to see the depth chart,” Morris said in Week 1, “because it just doesn’t really tell the whole story, because sometimes people start in different roles and different phases of the game and just because it’s not the first play of the game, doesn’t mean you’re not necessarily a starter or have a starting role.”
This week’s depth chart reflects recent roster moves. Wide receiver Jamal Agnew has been released, while wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge has been placed on injured reserve. Additionally, cornerback C.J. Henderson and safety Jammie Robinson have been signed to the active roster.
The Falcons will face off against the Rams on Monday night at 8:15 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ESPN and CBS Atlanta.
