The Atlanta Falcons will return to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for their first home game since the 2025 season opener, hosting the Washington Commanders in Week 4. The matchup is scheduled for Sunday, September 28 at 1 p.m. ET.
Last season, the Falcons won both of their home games against NFC East opponents, defeating the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. However, Atlanta has not yet beaten the Commanders at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and holds an 0-2 record against them at this venue. The team’s last home victory over Washington occurred in Week 5 of the 2015 season at the Georgia Dome, where they secured a 25-19 win in overtime.
Fans can watch the game on CBS, with Ian Eagle handling play-by-play duties, J.J. Watt as analyst, and Evan Washburn reporting from the sideline. Streaming options within the Atlanta market include NFL+ and other platforms listed on NFL.com. For viewers outside the United States, DAZN will provide streaming coverage.
Radio broadcasts are available on 92.9 The Game, ESPN Radio, La Mejor, SiriusXM, and through the Atlanta Falcons Mobile App. Wes Durham (play-by-play) and Dave Archer (analyst) will call the game on 92.9 The Game. On ESPN Radio, Steve Levy will provide play-by-play alongside analyst Harry Douglas and sideline reporter Dan Graziano.
Before kickoff, fans can tune in to YouTube for the Atlanta Falcons Pregame Show hosted by Taylor Vismor and Derek Rackley starting at noon ET.
