The Atlanta Falcons announced on Mar. 13 that they have signed free agent offensive lineman Corey Levin.
Levin, a sixth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, has played in 88 games with seven starts over six seasons. He has spent time with five teams, including the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and New York Jets, as well as the Titans. The Falcons said Levin brings versatility to their offensive line, having experience at center and both guard positions.
Levin worked with Falcons offensive line coach Bill Callahan during his last two seasons in Tennessee. “I hold myself to a high standard and want to come into the building every day and be a good leader for this team,” Levin told Titans media members during training camp last season. He described himself as a “glue guy in the locker room” and joins an offensive line group known for its veteran presence and chemistry.
General manager Ian Cunningham said the team is focused on adding depth across multiple positions this offseason. The signing comes as the NFL’s new league year began Wednesday at 4 p.m., allowing teams to officially sign free agents and finalize trades.
The Atlanta Falcons compete in the National Football League’s NFC South division according to the official website.
