The Atlanta Falcons have designated safety Jordan Fuller to return to practice after a stint on injured reserve. Fuller participated fully in Thursday’s practice session.

Fuller was placed on injured reserve on September 13 following a knee injury sustained during Week 2. In the Falcons’ Week 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he played one snap on defense and 16 on special teams before being sidelined and missing subsequent practices.

Fuller joined the Falcons as an offseason signing, bringing five years of NFL experience. Before his time in Atlanta, he started 55 out of 57 career games, mostly with the Los Angeles Rams from 2020 to 2023 and with the Carolina Panthers in 2024. His career includes seven interceptions, with three each in the 2020 and 2023 seasons.

Fuller did not initially make the Falcons’ 53-man roster but was added two days later.

Currently, the Falcons’ starting safeties are veteran Jessie Bates III and rookie Xavier Watts, who was recognized as the NFL Rookie of the Month for September. DeMarcco Hellams and Dee Alford are listed as backup safeties on the team’s latest depth chart.
