The Atlanta Falcons have released their depth chart for Week 12 ahead of their game against the New Orleans Saints. The update, announced from Flowery Branch, includes changes on both offense and defense.
One notable change is the removal of quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who has been placed on injured reserve following a knee injury.
The team emphasized that the depth chart serves as a guide for the upcoming matchup at Caesars Superdome but is not definitive. Personnel decisions may change at any time.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris addressed the limitations of such charts earlier in the season. “I always hate to see the depth chart,” Morris said in Week 1, “because it just doesn’t really tell the whole story, because sometimes people start in different roles and different phases of the game and just because it’s not the first play of the game, doesn’t mean you’re not necessarily a starter or have a starting role.”
The Falcons are set to face their NFC South rival at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
