The Atlanta Dream announced on March 16 that Andrea Bailey has been appointed as the organization’s Chief Revenue Officer, bringing over twenty years of experience in professional sports, partnerships, and commercial strategy.

Bailey will be responsible for overseeing the team’s revenue operations, including corporate partnerships, ticket sales, premium experiences, and commercial strategy. The move comes as the franchise seeks to expand its business operations and take advantage of the growing interest in women’s sports.

“Andrea is a proven revenue leader with an exceptional track record of building high-performing commercial teams and driving meaningful business growth,” said Morgan Shaw Parker, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Dream. “She brings the strategic discipline, deal-making ability, and leadership presence needed to accelerate our commercial momentum. Just as importantly, Andrea understands the unique opportunity in front of us, to build a best-in-class commercial team while continuing to elevate the business of women’s sports.”

Bailey previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Aquimo and held executive roles with the Portland Trail Blazers and Moda Center. She also spent more than seventeen years at AEG Global Partnerships managing major portfolios across sports and entertainment properties. Throughout her career, she has helped secure partnerships with brands such as Toyota, Delta Air Lines, Adidas, and Pernod Ricard.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the Atlanta Dream at such an important moment for the organization and for women’s sports,” said Bailey. “The momentum around the league and the Dream’s vision for the future present an extraordinary opportunity to build a best-in-class commercial organization while creating meaningful partnerships that support the continued growth of the game.”

The Atlanta Dream maintains its role as a key team in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), according to the official website. The team serves communities throughout the Southeast region according to its official website.

Ownership partners include Larry Gottesdiener, Suzanne Abair, and Renee Montgomery according to information from its official website. The organization is also known for supporting education through initiatives like backpack drives for students as reported by its official site, and focuses on empowering girls through basketball education, leadership development, and community programs according to its official website.

As Bailey steps into her new role focusing on accelerating revenue growth across partnerships and ticketing efforts, observers will watch how her leadership shapes both business results and community impact.
