Stites & Harbison announced on Mar. 10 that attorney Anna Kate Ferrell has joined the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee office. She will be part of the Business Litigation and Torts & Insurance Practice Service Groups.

Ferrell’s work centers on insurance coverage and defense, representing clients in personal injury, property damage, business torts, and insurance-related disputes.

Before joining Stites & Harbison, Ferrell worked as an associate at a small Nashville law firm in its tort and insurance defense sections. There she gained experience handling cases involving personal injury, construction defects, and insurance coverage.

Ferrell is active outside her practice as a member of both the Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations as well as the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association. She earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2024, where she served on the Executive Board of the Belmont Law Review. She is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.

The addition of Ferrell reflects Stites & Harbison’s continued focus on expanding its litigation and insurance practices.
