AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) has announced a long-term partnership with American Express, making the global payments company a Founding Partner and the Official Payments Partner for AMBSE’s teams and venues. This includes the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and the upcoming National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club in Atlanta.
As part of this agreement, Mercedes-Benz Stadium will become part of the American Express Venue Collection. Eligible American Express Card Members will have access to benefits such as Amex Presale Tickets, dedicated entry or fast-lane access, and exclusive concessions offers starting March 7, 2026. Terms apply.
American Express will also have integrated branding across team platforms for both the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United. The deal provides in-stadium visibility during home games, presenting partnerships tied to major fan programs and select matches, as well as year-round storytelling through digital, broadcast, and social channels. Card Members can access pre-sale tickets, a retail fast lane, and unique experiences at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The partnership extends to support women’s sports growth in Atlanta. American Express will be a key partner for AMBSE’s future NWSL club set to begin play in 2028. The agreement gives American Express sponsorship rights connected to the new team as part of a long-term investment in women’s professional soccer.
“This agreement brings together two organizations that share a focus on premium experiences, innovation, and putting fans first,” said Nana-Yaw Asamoah, chief commercial officer at AMB Sports and Entertainment. “American Express enhances how people experience our teams, our stadium, and our city from arrival through the final whistle. As a Founding Partner of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Amex will play a meaningful role in how we continue to elevate Atlanta as a world-class sports and entertainment destination.”
AMBSE is part of the Blank Family of Businesses and oversees several entities including the Atlanta Falcons—a team based in Atlanta since its founding as an expansion franchise in 1965—and which competes in the NFL’s NFC South division according to their official website. The Falcons have advanced to the Super Bowl twice—in 1998 and 2016—according to their official website. Freddie the Falcon serves as their mascot (official website). Other properties under AMBSE include Atlanta United FC, Mercedes-Benz Stadium itself, Atlanta Drive Golf Club, and PGA TOUR Superstore.
