Alston Bird Named a Best Workplace for Parents

For the fifth time since 2016, Alston & Bird has been recognized as one of America’s “Best Workplaces for Parents.”

The firm ranks among the 2022 survey’s 100 top companies recognized for creating consistently positive experiences for all working parents. The Great Place to Work® survey evaluates the culture of thousands of organizations, including responses from over 568,000 working parents across job levels, tenure, and demographics.

As an Alston & Bird employee shared in their 2022 survey response: “We are especially inclusive of LGBT+ and women compared to other big law firms. I had to take a parental leave during my first year, which is unusual, and I felt highly supported by our benefits team and management. I never felt like they saw me as ‘mommy tracked’ or tried to reduce my responsibilities, and I never felt a lack of support.”The recognition is the latest in a series of awards honoring Alston & Bird’s distinctive workplace culture. Other recent firm accolades include being named among Fortune’s 2022 “100 Best Companies to Work For®” and People magazine’s 2022 “100 Companies That Care,” in addition to earning a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2022 “Corporate Equality Index.
