Sen. Elena Parent Minority Caucus Chair, District 42, Democrat | Georgia General Assembly

State Senator Elena Parent, along with State Representatives Mary Margaret Oliver and Omari Crawford, will be hosting a legislative town hall to discuss election season issues and recap the 2024 legislative session. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 7-8 p.m. at Decatur City Hall.

During the town hall, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the lawmakers and address any questions or concerns they may have. Those interested in participating can also register to attend the town hall via Zoom.

Sen. Elena Parent, who represents the 42nd Senate District, serves as Chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus. According to the announcement, she can be contacted at 404.456.5109 or via email at elena.parent@senate.ga.gov.

Representative Mary Margaret Oliver, who represents District 82, has been serving in the House of Representatives since 2002 and currently holds the position of Secretary of the Public Health Committee. Additionally, Representative Oliver serves on multiple committees, including Appropriations Subcommittee on Human Resources and Governmental Affairs, among others.

Representative Omari Crawford, representing District 84, was elected to the House of Representatives in 2022 and currently serves on various committees, such as Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight and Judiciary committees.

The town hall is open to the public, providing an opportunity for constituents to engage directly with their elected officials and gain insights into the legislative priorities and activities of their representatives.
